Lindsay and Paul’s Intaba View Wedding – Botha’s Hill
I’m so happy to share another family wedding today! Lindsay, my beautiful bride pictured below, is technically my second-cousin-twice-removed but we’re going with ‘cousin!’ Her mom is an original Setterberg and let me tell you, there are only a few of us and as it turns out, we really are all related! But this isn’t about me. It’s about Linds and Paul. As you’ll see below, Lindsay is just the picture of grace and Paul is the most loving partner. I mean, the way he looked at her when she walked down the aisle. Ah, it was too wonderful to witness. I spend a great deal of time observing couples and I am always so moved by those who share deep respect for the other. You can see it in their eyes. In their gentle gestures. The dusting of a chair for the other. A supportive touch on the back. A smile from across the room. Linds and Paul are both softly-spoken but their love and faith are strong. The fact that their church was packed with family and friends says so much about these two. Everyone wanted to celebrate them because they are such special souls. And I just loved that they got ready at their family homes. Weddings can easily become these huge elaborate affairs but Linds and Paul kept their family and faith at the heart of their day. And I am so honoured that I got to share in these sacred moments! Thank you Lindsay and Paul. I will never forget your soulful, summer wedding. x
