Ashleigh & Christiaan | Providence Country Wedding

Ah, this day! I remember it so clearly. A summer’s storm swirled above us but kindly waited to kick off until we were inside! With Ash and Chris being based in Jozi, I only got to meet them for the first time on the day of their wedding but they instantly felt like the sort of friends you’d have over for a pot-luck dins and a rowdy game of 30 Seconds – aka – just my sort of people. As you’ll see below, Ash is effortlessly elegant. That dress! My gosh, she was a vision. I on the other hand, was not. Because fun fact – I knelt in a gift from a cow during the creative shoot! Just me being me, yo. Fortunately I had some rando gym leggings in the car which I was able to cobble together with a spare top that was rattling around in my boot. Anyway! Ash and Chris’ besties treated them to the most hilarious slide show at their reception. And when we weren’t crying with lols, we were crying in awe when their gorgeous bridesmaid performed a song from the Greatest Showman. I love shooting at Providence. I love connecting with kind souls and Ashleigh and Chris, I can only hope our paths will cross again. Sending you the biggest hugs from Durbs! Love La x
